FBI Agents Search for Lakeview Bank Robbery Suspect

Posted:

FBI agents are looking for tips from Chicagoans to help track down a man who robbed a Lakeview bank a few weeks ago.

On Aug. 2, a lone white male entered the Bank of America branch located on the 3200 block of North Lincoln Avenue in Chicago.

The suspect approached the teller counter, announced a robbery, and although a weapon was never displayed, threatened bank employees with harm if his demands for cash were not met.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect turned and fled the bank on foot.

Although the suspect wore a distinctive hat, he made no attempts to hide his face or further conceal his identity. Surveillance cameras were able to pick up clear images of the suspect’s face.

Based on the surveillance photos, the suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, about 5'10", weighing 200 lbs., and has a mustache.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees or has information about the suspect should call police.
