Chicago's Most Wanted Pedro Garcia

Posted:

Cook County prosecutors charged 50 year old Pedro Garcia with sexually assaulting a seven year old girl in her own home earlier this year. The attack happened in February in the 700 block of north Springfield Avenue. Investigators add Garcia and the victim were acquaintances and that Garcia used to live at that address. They also say the girl's mother walked in on Garcia during the assault and hit him. In addition to both the mother and daughter identifying Garcia as the girl's attacker, agents say they have physical evidence tying him to the crime.

FBI agents and police are checking several Chicago area addresses for Garcia. His last known address is in the 1600 block of north Drake Avenue. They are also focusing on Pullman, Michigan, where Garcia's sister lives, and on the southwest suburbs where some of his friends and family reside.

Agents describe Garcia as a Hispanic male, about 5' 5", weighing around 200 pounds, with a medium complexion, dark hair and dark eyes.

He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
