Torch Relay Benefits Childrens Miracle Network

Posted:

You can help children in our area fight potentially deadly diseases by running or walking in the ninth annual Torch Relay as the Olympic torch makes its way through Chicago.

The 5k route along the lakefront raises money for the Children's Miracle Network.

The network raises money for Children's Memorial Hospital in Lincoln Park, which has treated millions of children right here in our area.

The relay will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 from Soldier Field.

Registration is $15.
