This week’s Good Day Prep Star of the Week was a two-for! We went out to west suburban Lombard for a look at this dynamic duo: Montini Catholic's senior quarterback John Rhode and his favorite target, senior wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp.
Rhode has had an incredible season with 42-touchdowns, and he has the best passing record in school history. He threw for more than 3,000 yards this season even though he missed the first five games with a broken thumb!
In the meantime, teammate Jordan Westerkamp has become the top wide receiver in Illinois history. He holds state records for receptions, receiving yards and receiving TD's.
He's had 31 touchdowns this season alone.
Both teens led Montini to their third straight state championship.
Congratulations to John Rhode and Jordan Westerkamp. Both are headed off to play college football next year.
