Friday was the big shave day for the St. Baldrick's Fox Chicago Schools challenge. Over the past several years, we've raised $3.5 million to aid in the fight against kids’ cancer with the help of hundreds of Chicago and suburban schools.
Patrick Elwood knows that bald is beautiful. He went bald for a good cause with Ron Kittle and Southpaw from the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field and then went out to Evergreen Park where one of our partner schools was doing their part.
This year, the effort raised over $700,000 to date.
