Kim K has made it official, she is divorcing her husband of 72 days! After you get divorced...what should you return? Kim and Kris are still in the annulment phase. According to Cali Law that 20 carat rock is all hers and so is pretty much everything else. The two signed a prenup, so the Kardashian Empire worth about $65million also stays with Kim. However what about the wedding gifts, etc? I mean I'm sure they got some pretty great gifts, after all they did invite Hollywood's A-List Celebs.
Here's my take:
First of all....who didn't see this coming?!!! Ok, I'm done...now on to the matter at hand. What do you give back??? I think if your marriage is so premature that you can still get an annulment---I WANT MY GIFT BACK, LOL! I mean come on...you knew that something wasn't right to begin with. Now with Kim and Kris, if you watch the show, you know that this was fake to begin with. It was just another publicity stunt by Kim and her Mom-ager, Kris. Kim just wanted a big party where she was the spotlight. She clearly didn't marry Kris H. for his money, my man is only making $3 mill, which is chump change in the Kardashian world. I kind of feel bad for Kris, he just seems lost. Hopefully the lockout will be over soon and Kris can get paid and find a new boo.
Now as far as giving the ring back, I think the woman should keep it. After you say "I Do" the ring definitely becomes hers. If the decision was mutual and I thought that my husband could benefit from having it back (to pay me alimony, child support, etc) then MAYBE I would return it. Next the gifts, I guess you could have a little gathering and give out $100 bills as party favors! Seriously, most people give money at a wedding, so you can't really give that back. You could give back a toaster or that waffle maker you just had to have. However, realistically as a wedding guest this is just the risk you take when you check "Will Attend" on the reply card. Lastly, I leave you with this--- "Love conquers all" and I truly do believe that Marriage is a beautiful thing, when it's based on a strong foundation!
Peace and Love, Guys!
