Steve Keeley, a Southern New Jersey native, is proud to be home as a reporter with FOX 29. Keeley worked with NBC affiliates since 1987. He came to Philadelphia after being a reporter at Cleveland's WKYC-TV where he was also fill-in anchor for weekend and noon news.
Keeley graduated Cum Laude from Glassboro State College (Rowan University) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law/Justice. From 1983 to 1985, Keeley worked in radio at WFPG in Atlantic City as News Director and in1986 switched to television as a news writer for KYW-TV. At this time he was also working at WMDT-TV in Salisbury, Maryland as weekend anchor.
In 1987, Keeley became a general assignment reporter in Rochester at WROC-TV and for the following six years, did reporting at WGRZ-TV in Buffalo until his two-year stint in Cleveland
