CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Police are looking for three men suspected in two separate robberies last month on the Southwest Side.

Three Hispanic men approach the victims and take their property by force or knife-point, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives, who said the robbers have made gang references.

The first robbery happened about 9 a.m. March 28 in the 2300 block of South Sawyer Avenue and the second happened about 8 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Sawyer Avenue, police said.

The robbers are described as Hispanic men between 18 and 25 years old, the alert said. They are between 5-feet-4 and 5-feet-8.
