A man was arrested on Long Island for allegedly touching the feet of a teenage girl and asking another to remove her shoe, said Nassau County Police.

In one of the incidents, the man refused to let go of the girl's foot while she was on a swing at Lincoln Park in Farmingdale on Monday.

The girl eventually freed herself and the man ran off, added police.

In an earlier reported incident, the man approached three girls walking home from school on January 24 and removed a shoe from one of the girls before putting it back and driving off, said police.

The girls told police they were also asked by the man if they would like a foot massage.

On Friday, police announced the arrest of Carlos Sanchez, 28, of Massapequa.

Sanchez, who was picked up following tips to Nassau County's Crime Stoppers hotline, was scheduld to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.

He faces child endangerment charges.
