Justin Gray joined FOX 5 Atlanta as a general assignment reporter in the summer of 2007. You can see him each night on FOX 5 News at 10 and FOX 5 News Edge at 11.
Justin first moved to Atlanta as an Emory college freshman as the city was gearing up for the Olympics. Since then, he's lived everywhere from the heart of Manhattan to the hills of West Virginia, and even the California coast.
Working "the nightshift," Justin covers it all; from breaking news, to crime and politics. He's traveled to the coast to cover hurricanes and to Hollywood for American Idol. In 2012, Justin won an Emmy award for best live reporter.
Before joining FOX 5, Justin reported for CN8 News in Philadelphia. He also reported for WSAZ-TV in his hometown of Charleston, West Virginia and at KIEM-TV in Eureka, California. Prior to his journalism career, Justin worked on Capitol Hill as an assistant to US Senator Jay Rockefeller. Justin has a Master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University. He graduated from Emory University with a double major in History and Political Science.
Justin serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Press Club. For the past two years, he's shared the stage with artists like Justin Bieber, Usher, and Sugarland as the host of the GA Music Hall of Fame Awards, one of the biggest annual events for Atlanta's vibrant music scene. Justin lives in Atlanta's historic Old Fourth Ward.
