Traffic is flowing again on the Connecticut Turnpike after a tractor-trailer caught fire and spilled fuel on the roadway early Monday morning. The right lane of the northound Connecticut Turnpike remains closed between Exit 18 in Westport and Exit 21 in Fairfield. Fairfield Police say the truck was carrying methanol when the driver noticed smoke coming from the trailer. Early indications are that faulty breaks were the cause.
