Chrysler has informed many dealerships in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut on Thursday that they were going to be terminated as official dealers. The bankrupt automaker wants to eliminate about a quarter of its dealerships across the country. In a bankruptcy court filing, the auto giant announced plans to eliminate 789 of its 3,200 U.S. dealerships.
