(NewsCore) - Socialite Paris Hilton was banned from two Las Vegas resorts after her weekend arrest, which followed a traffic stop at which police reported smelling marijuana emanating from the Cadillac Escalade her boyfriend was driving, RadarOnline reported Wednesday.
Hilton, 29, was arrested August 27 inside the Wynn Las Vegas resort when "cocaine in a clear baggy" fell from her purse when she reached for a lip balm, police said.
A rep for Wynn Resorts confirmed to RadarOnline Wednesday that Hilton has now been banned from the two Wynn resorts -- Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.
After the cocaine discovery Hilton told police the purse did not belong to her and said she had borrowed it from a friend, according to the police report.
When asked if the cocaine was hers, Hilton allegedly told police "she had not seen it but now thought it was gum."
Also inside the purse carried by Hilton, police said they found $1,300 cash, credit cards, a "broken tablet of Albuterol" -- a prescription drug used to control wheezing -- and Zig Zag wrappers, which are commonly used to roll and smoke marijuana. Hilton admitted these items belonged to her.
Friends said later that Hilton had claimed the purse did belong to her. Hilton said she loaned it to a friend, who ’probably’ put the cocaine in it. She said she never looked inside the bag after getting it back from the friend.
Hilton's boyfriend, Cy Waits, was fired from his job with Wynn Resorts -- where he worked as a top managing partner of the Tryst Nightclub at Wynn and XS The Nightclub at Encore -- earlier this week.
Waits was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Charges have not yet been filed.
Hilton was arrested for investigation of felony cocaine possession and she is scheduled for arraignment on October 27 in Nevada.
Hilton was previously arrested during the soccer World Cup in South Africa on July 2 for allegedly possessing or smoking marijuana. A judge dropped the charges when Hilton’s friend admitted the marijuana was hers.
Two weeks later she was held by police in France over marijuana found in her purse but was released without being charged.
"These rumors going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel," the heiress tweeted late Tuesday night.
"I'm not going to even pay attention to them because I know the truth."
