The large billboard, plastered on the side of a building, features teenagers who are only wearing jeans, engaged in what looks to be a foursome. On a sofa, one topless girl is kissing one male as she lays on top of another male. Below them on the floor is another male who is lying with his pants and shirt unbuttoned.

"It's borderline pornographic," local resident Lisa Marchese, 36, told the New York Daily News . "They all look so young, particularly the girl. And to portray them in a threesome -- it's just taking it too far."

"It's pretty provocative," added Alicia Shay, 24. "Just the positioning of them all -- she's kissing him, the other guy has his hands down her pants, they're all misty even. It's really inappropriate."

Others are simply shrugging it off. "I don't care about sexual ads," Maria Mojena, a Boston resident visiting New York City, told the Courier Mail . "They don't offend me or provoke me in any way."

A Calvin Klein spokesperson said the "intention was to create a very sexy campaign that speaks to our targeted demographic."

Calvin Klein has produced a handful of provocative ads over the years. Among the most famous -- a 1980 ad featuring 15-year-old Brooke Shields saying "You wanna know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing." A 1999 ad featured children playing on a sofa wearing CK undergarments. Many thought the images were highly sexualized, and within 24 hours of the ads appearing in publications, they were pulled.
