MYFOXNY.COM - A local woman went from mother to inventor in her attempt to beat the cold.
Amy Sapirstein created something called the Mommy Mitten. The Mommy Mitten is a hand warmer that secures around the handle bar of a baby stroller to keep hands protected from the elements without having to deal with gloves or mittens.
The website says that Mommy Mitten is water resistant, insulated, and lined with fleece and tightened with Velcro. It includes an external zipper pocket for easy access to things such as keys, cell phone, money or pacifiers.
The Mommy Mitten is available in different color and costs $30.
