(AP) -- Prosecutors in New York City say 13 people and a mortgage origination company have been charged in a $100 million mortgage fraud case.
They say the individuals include lawyers, bankers, appraisers and mortgage brokers.
Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau is scheduled to announce an indictment in the case at a news conference Wednesday.
He says 12 other defendants involved in the scheme have waived the indictment and pleaded guilty.
