MYFOXNY.COM - Give yourself extra time to get to and from your destination as a snow storm rolls through the area. All mass transit agencies including New York City Transit, NJ Transit, PATH, LIRR and Amtrak have plans in place for inclement weather service changes.

NJ Transit is running on a regular, weekday schedule. Passes are being cross-honoring systemwide.
The agency also will keep all train station waiting rooms and buildings open for extended hours through Monday.

The Long Island Railroad says it plans to temporarily suspend service if and when snow accumulations reach between 10 and 13 inches.
Metro-North Railroad Is running on a reduced morning peak schedule. Starting at Noon- 4 p.m., outbound getaway service trains will be added. After 5 p.m., reduced peak schedule service resumes.
Several trains on the Northeast Corridor are canceled or delayed. The northeast corridor remains open. There is limited Acela Express and Northeast Regional service between Boston, New York and Washington.
