Veterans Highway Closure

Traffic is flowing again on Veterans Highway in Islandia.
The driver of a flatbead truck died and then crashed into a guardrail on Monday morning, according to police.
The highway was closed in both directions between Old Nichols Road and Sycamore Road for more than one hour.
