All lanes of the southbound West Side Highway reopened several hours after a major crash on Tuesday.
Police say two vehicles were involved in a collision at 125th Street at 7:30 a.m.
Traffic was backed up for several miles during most of the morning rush.
Three people suffered minor injuries.
Police say one of the vehicles was traveling northbound when the driver lost control and went over the ramp striking two vehicles on the southbound lanes.
