MYFOXNY.COM - The Philadelphia Phillies have advanced to the World Series after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 10-4 in the National League Championship Series on Wednesday night.
While the event is clearly a cause for celebration, some fans in Philadelphia took the revelry too far.
From climbing up lampposts to jumping onto cars, the party overnight got out of hand.
Video showed one fan landing on his head after tumbling off of a moving cab in South Philadelphia.
Dozens of police officers in riot gear and others on horses tried to keep a croud of more than a thousand people under control on Broad Street. They made some arrests and confiscated alcohol. The road was closed to traffic.
