Bill Clinton Leads Weiner Wedding

MYFOXNY.COM - Former President Bill Clinton presided at the wedding of New York Rep. Anthony Weiner to Huma Abedin, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's longtime aide.

Weiner, who's 45, and Abedin, who's 34, married Saturday at the Oheka Castle in Huntington, on Long Island.  The sprawling grounds have hosted several high-profile weddings.

The bridge wore a dress designed by her good friend Oscar de la Renta.  The groom wore a black tuxedo.

Bryan Rafanelli oversaw the design and plan of the wedding celebration.

During the ceremony, Clinton reportedly joked that marrying a politician can be tough because it's "easy to distrust them, whatever their religion."

Weiner is Jewish, while Abedin, who grew up in Saudi Arabia, is Muslim.

The couple had been dating for about two years and announced their engagement last summer.

The Clintons are in the midst of a busy wedding season. Their daughter Chelsea plans to tie the knot with investment banker Marc Mezvinsky in Rhinebeck, New York July 31.
