MYFOXNY.COM - On Thanksgiving Day, New York lawmakers could be talking turkey in Albany instead of enjoying a holiday meal with their families back home.

Legislators say a deal to close a $3.2 billion budget gap is, well, close, But once again another day goes by, with no budget deal.

Gov. David Paterson is threatening to keep lawmakers at the Capitol through Thanksgiving if they don't come up with cuts.

Reports say things are getting personal; that Paterson is feuding with John Sampson, and that Sampson is feuding with Malcolm Smith.

And lawmakers say the governor still hasn't produced a bill to vote on, so they may act on their own.
