Notre Dame is having another mediocre season but is that any reason to attack the quarterback? ESPN reports that Jimmy Clausen was punched in the face outside of a South Bend restaurant.
The report claims that a fan attacked Clausen after he had dinner with his parents and left him with a swollen eye.
The alleged attack took place hours after the Fighting Irish lost an overtime game to Connecticut.
There is no police report to confirm any details.
