MYFOXNY.COM - Beleaguered golfer Tiger Woods will reportedly make a public apology on Friday.
It will be the first time that Woods will talk to the media since a Thanksgiving weekend accident.
However, his agent said Woods will not take any questions.
"This is not a press conference," Mark Steinberg said.
Coverage of the accident spawned a scandal of affairs. New revelations unfolded for weeks and continue. Just this week, porn star Joslyn James claimed that an affair with Tiger Woods from 2006 to 2009 resulted in two pregnancies.
Woods is set to talk at 11 a.m. on Friday. MyFoxNY.com plans to carry the event live. His agent says he will address his past and his future plans.
He will address a limited number of reporters from the clubhouse at the TPC Sawgrass. That is the headquarters of the PGA Tour.
The event will occur during the middle of the Accenture Match Play Championship, one of the sponsors that dropped him during his sex scandal.
On Tuesday he reportedly left his Florida home to go to a bungalow he owns in the same gated community for a meeting with officials from the Tavistock Cup to discuss plans for a comeback.
Sources told TMZ.com that after Tavistock, Woods plans to go to Augusta, Ga., for the Masters.
His wife, Elin Nordegren, picked up Woods from a Hattiesburg, Mississippi rehab clinic earlier this month.
The golf star reportedly finished a sex addiction program at the $40,000-a-course Pine Grove center.
