(MYFOX NATIONAL) - A woman and her dog escaped from a flaming van unharmed on Monday morning near Coburg, Ore. Firefighters recorded the scene.
According to the woman, she was driving her vehicle on Interstate 5 when it started to catch fire. She immediately pulled off the road and escaped the flaming van. A propane tank in the van made the fire more dangerous.
"Bystanders tried to get it under control with fire extinguishers, but it got past the fire wall," Chad Minter, chief of the Coburg Fire Department, told a local TV station.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire and successfully keep the fire from the propane tank.
