Three people were killed and three others injured Saturday morning when a pickup plowed head-on into a group of motorcycles during a charity ride.
Texas Department of Public Safety officials say the truck veered into the oncoming lane and struck two motorcycles before rolling over and hitting two more on a rural highway southwest of Corsicana.
Corsicana High School teacher Leslie McCluney, 34, was among the dead. She was a passenger with her father, 61-year-old Terry Nelson, who also was killed. The other rider killed was David Coley, 54. All three were from Corsicana.
The charity ride was a benefit for the Corsicana High drill team.
DPS officials say no charges have been filed. They say the incident is under investigation but it appears to have been an accident.
