MYFOXNY.COM - Actor Charlie Sheen's SUV has been found crashed down a steep ravine near his Sherman Oaks, Calf. home. The actor had reported it stolen.

An early morning 911 reported a car was down a cliff off Mulholland Drive. At about the same time, Sheen called to report that his Mercedes Benz SUV had been stolen.

TV reports show the car upside-down about 100 feet down a brush-covered ravine.

There is no evidence that anyone was in the SUV when it went over the edge of the ravine.  Police are treating the case as an auto theft.

The "Two and a Half Men" actor has recently been in the news in connection to accusations of domestic violence against his wife Brooke Mueller.

Sheen is accused of pinning Mueller, 33, to the bed, putting a knife to her throat and threatening to kill her while the couple vacationed in Aspen.
