MYFOXNY.COM - The FDNY battled two separate brush fires on Staten Island Wednesday afternoon.
One fire burned in the Woodrow section of the borough. More than 130 firefighters responded to the 3-alarm fire, which started around 1 p.m.
Then around 2:40 p.m. more than 160 firefighters responded to a 4-alarm fire near Buffalo Street in Bay Terrace. That is in the National Park Service's Gateway National Recreation Area.
No one has been hurt in either fire, according to the FDNY.
