STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Rapper 'Method Man' of the 'Wu Tang Clan' is accused of failing to pay income and personal taxes to New York State for 2004-2007.
The Richmond County District Attorney says 'Method Man,' whose real name is Clifford Smith, was arrested on Monday on felony charges after surrendering to the NYPD.
He's accused of failing to pay $32,799 in personal income tax in addition to state income tax.
'Method Man' faces up to four years in prison if convicted. He's expected to be arraigned on Staten Island on Monday.
