MYFOXNY.COM - A transformer surge in the Corona section of Queens set overhead electrical wires on fire early Tuesday morning.
The flames spread to one car as the wires landed on the vehicle.
Electric poles were on fire along 108th Street.
Fire officials say no one was hurt.
The flames were put out by 1:30 a.m.
Power was out to approximately 175 Con Ed customers.
