MYFOX NEW YORK STAFF REPORT

MYFOXNY.COM -- Alexa Gonzalez, 12, was doodling with an erasable marker on her desk at Junior High School 190 in Forest Hills. And for that, she was busted.

The seventh grader says she was put in metal cuffs, taken to a police precinct across the street, and suspended.

Alexa says she was patted down, and apparently had an offending agent on her -- Wite-Out. She says she started crying.

Alexa's mother was stunned by the news. She can't believe the nightmare her daughter went through.

In a statement the Department of Education says: "The JHS 190 principal in Queens is reaching out to the parent today and has lifted the suspension. The student is returning to her classes."
