MYFOXNY.COM - The NYPD has arrested a man in connection with the sexual assaults of two women in Far Rockaway, Queens.
Officers arrested Malcolm Johnson, 23, of 146 Beach 59th Street. He is charged with rape, sexual assault, robbery, unlawful imprisonment and criminal possession of a weapon.
Last week, the NYPD said that in the first attack, a man put a gun to a woman at the Beach 67th Street Subway Station and threatened to kill her on Oct. 27 at around 3:30 a.m. Cops say the suspect dragged her to an alleyway near a church where he raped and robbed the woman.
The second assault happened at 5:20 a.m. on Oct. 28 inside a building near Beach 56th Street. The woman was either on her way to the bus or at a bus stop when the attacker threatened her with a gun and dragged her to a sixth floor landing, cops said.
The victims are 25 and 21 years old.
