MYFOXNY.COM - There was a large fire Ocean Grove, N.J. in the early morning hours of Saturday.
It reportedly started at The Manchester Inn at 25 Ocean Pathway. The fire spread to as many as six buildings.
Ocean Grove is just south of Asbury Park. The four-alarm fire started at about 4 a.m.
High winds caused problems for firefighters. Crews hand carried a 5-inch hose over a foot-bridge from Asbury Park to help put water on the fire.
Investigators continue to seek the cause of the fire.
Fire officials say it appears that the fire started in one of the homes and quickly spread, but the investigation was ongoing as of Sunday afternoon.
Some homes were vacant when the fire broke out, while residents in the other buildings were safely evacuated.
