SATURDAY ONLY
US Open's Arthur Ashe Kids' Day - Flushing, Queens
The US Open is right around the corner which means it's time for this popular annual event in Queens.
9:30AM - gates open with activities including face painting, juggling school, tennis clinics, autograph sessions and live entertainment. 1PM - Main event kicks off with Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, David Archuleta, Shontelle. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick will also be on hand.
Activities are free, concert tickets are $10. Tickets are limited so if they're sold out, I've seen them as low as $38 on Stub Hub.
Justin Bieber
7:30PM - If you're more Bieber Fever or still have a need for teen pop, Justin Bieber is performing at the Prudential Center in Newark. Tickets start at $33.
SUNDAY ONLY
Sundae Sermon Dance Party in Harlem
3-7PM - Afternoon dance party at Morningside Park featuring house music by DJ Stormin' Norman and guest DJs. Family-friendly positive experience. Free.

FringeNYC Festival
It's the last weekend for North America's largest multi-arts festival with 1,200 performances. There are plays, comedians, dance troupes. Multiple performances, times and locations throughout East and West Village. Tickets for every show are $18.

Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island
11AM-5PM - Featuring Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra. Popular event for adults and kids that throws back to the jazz age. There are live performances, vintage fashion shows, dance lessons. Food and drink are available, but picnicking is encouraged, it's a lawn party after all. Tickets $10.

The Charlie Parker Jazz Festival
3PM - Free two-day event part of the Summerstage Series featuring live jazz performances from top musicians. Saturday at Marcus Garvey Park; Sunday at Tompkins Square Park.
