MYFOXNY.COM - Although New York City officials mobilized for the possibility that Hurricane Earl might cause some weather problems in the five boroughs, the storm largely passed the tristate with little effect. On Friday, many New Yorkers, tourists, and commuters went about their business.
Fox 5 News spoke to people in Times Square who were enjoying a calm, clear night after Earl-related rain had passed through town. Many said they were unfazed by the hoopla surrounding the powerful storm that barrelled up the Eastern Seaboard a few hundred miles off the coast.
