Police Cadet Shot

A police cadet was shot in Longwood section of The Bronx at around 5:30 a.m.

Cops say the shooting happened at 950 Avenue St. Joh. Tje cadet had recently been suspended from the NYPD. It's not clear if the cadet is a man or woman.

He or she was hit in the stomach and taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made. A police investigation is underway.
