Lady Liberty welcomed more than just fourth of July visitors and new citizens today!
She was also the backdrop of a very special moment for one California couple.
Aaron Weisinger popped the question to his girlfriend, Erica Breder, as she was admiring the view. She of course, said yes.
Weisinger says he was drenched in sweat when he reached the top, but not just because of the workout but because he was nervous.
