MyFoxNY.com - The NY Drug Enforcement Administration say they've arrested 12 people and seized 33 pounds of heroin worth $30 million in Build-a-Bear toys.

The arrests happened Friday afternoon and authorities say the people arrested were a part of a drug ring that sold hundreds of thousands of small bags of drugs each week. Investigators discovered wholesale heroin packaging operations at several locations in the Bronx.

The drugs were stamped with brand names including Barack Obama, Swine Flu, and Crime 360.

The drug ring stuffed heroin-filled glassines inside Build-a-Bear toys to conceal the heroin during transport.

The DEA also says $150,000 in cash was seized during the drug raid. They believe the drugs were distributed throughout New Jersey and New York City.
