MYFOXNY.COM - Tenants of one Bronx public housing building are coping with broken elevators that they say leave people stranded. Seniors and people in wheelchairs can't get up to their apartments -- and tenants said the city isn't doing anything to help them out.

Watch the report from Fox 5's Mike Gilliam (video, left).

They say the shoddy service has gone on for far too long at the Boston Secor Houses.

There are four buildings in this city housing complex and residents said every elevator is out of commission.

Residents of the Eastchester complex packed an emotional meeting Wednesday evening  to make their problems known to the city.

Housing officials told residents repairs would be made but tenants weren't so quick to buy it.

Equipment more than 20 years old has been cited as one of the problems.

Residents made of point of telling Fox 5 that the city is quick to collect the rent but supposedly not so good about ensuring a decent quality of life.
