Britain's Prince Harry visited a garden memorializing Sept. 11 victims on Friday, May 29, 2009.

Prince Harry laid a wreath at ground zero and bowed his head for several minutes in his first official visit to the United States.
The 24-year-old prince also walked around the World Trade Center site and looked at the plans fo rebuilding it. At one point he asked an official, "Big question -- when is this supposed to be finished?"

The prince visited a garden memorializing Sept. 11 victims and a veterans center in Manhattan later Friday.
The prince laid a wreath with a handwritten note and bowed his head for several minutes at a spot in the site while overlooking the Sept. 11 memorial.
He then spoke to relatives of four 9/11 victims and toured the site and a firehouse across from ground zero.
The youngest son of the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles will play polo on Governors Island on Saturday. It's the second annual Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic -– and the public is invited.
Proceeds from the match will benefit American Friends of Sentebale , a charity that helps children in Lesotho combat poverty and AIDS.
Third in line to the British throne, the prince is a much-watched member of the royal family.
His "party-boy" image and brushes with scandal regularly make newspaper headlines. He had to issue an apology after wearing a Nazi uniform to a costume party a few years ago.

PRINCE HARRY'S SCHEDULE IN NEW YORK
May 29th
Visit to the World Trade Center site. He'll meet families of some victims and place a wreath in front of the memorial site.
The British Garden at Hanover Square . Harry will officially christen the garden and plant and magnolia tree as part of New York City's Million Trees program.
Veterans Medical Center in Manhattan . He will tour the medical centers virtual reality therapy lab for post-traumatic stress disorder and the prosthetics lab. He will also meet privately with veterans from the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and other conflicts. 423 E 23rd Street. A British soldier who lost both legs in an explosion in Afghanistan will accompany Harry on his trip.
May 30th
Harlem Children's Zone . Prince Seeisio from the Lesotho Royal Family and Geoff Canada, CEO of the Harlem Children's Zone will join Harry for a tour of the medical center. They will also meet a class of fourth-graders. 35 E 125th Street, at Madison Avenue.
