One person was killed and two injured in a car crash in the East Tremont section of The Bronx.

Police say a car was mangled after it crashed into a fence at around 2 a.m. on Monday.

There were no other cars involved in the crash.

A 50-year-old woman and 45-year-old man were rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital.

The woman suffered a severe head injuryy. The man was trapped under the dash board. He also suffered severe head injuries.
