V.A. Hospital Cops Have Limits to Power

MYFOXNY.COM - Some law enforcement officers assigned to the Veterans Affairs hospital in New York say that under certain circumstances they're not allowed to do what cops are supposed to do when they see a crime: make an arrest. In fact if they witness an incident off V.A. property -- even if it's only a few feet away -- they cannot respond. As federal officers, their arrest powers are limited by the law. Fox 5's Dick Brennan reports how frustrating this limitation can be.
