Dolphins Spotted Off King's Point

MyFoxNY.com - A large pod of dolphins was spotted in the Long Island Sound.

Off the tip of King's Point, witnesses say hundreds of dolphins were swimming between City Island and Manhasset Bay.

The sighting happened in the early evening and more reports of sightings came into the Fox 5 newsroom around 8:30 PM.

Watch the video, left, that shows two dolphins (in the center) jumping through the waves of the Long Island Sound.

Onlookers tried their best to photograph the elusive dolphins. The photos show the tips of the dolphins as they move through the water.
