MYFOXNY.COM - Hundreds of Long Islanders who are victims of Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme attended a meeting in Port Washington Tuesday evening.

WATCH THE FOX 5 NEWS REPORT (VIDEO, LEFT)

The meeting, hosted by Madoff-Help.com, was designed to give victims the opportunity to discuss and learn the latest information about the case and help them help them deal with the repercussions.

The meeting featured a panel of tax and litigation experts who spoke about the case, tax implications, and how to file a SIPC claim.

Many attendees told Fox 5 News that the meeting covered a lot of the same issues and topics that have been explained before, but that it was good to meet with fellow victims for support.
