MYFOXNY.COM - Downed trees and power lines are wreaking havoc locally, but in Teaneck the situation turned deadly.
According to the Teaneck Police Department, two people died when a tree fell and killed them.
Larry Krause, 50, and Ovadiah Mussaffi, 52, were walking on the sidewalk along Jefferson Street.
The accident occurred as Mussaffi and Krause were on the way home after Saturday services at Congregation Shaarei Orah, the Sephardic Congregation of Teaneck.
Mussaffi was the congregation's president, while Krause was the managing partner of Krause & Associates, a Manhattan-based personal injury law firm.
