PATERSON, N.J. (AP) - Jurors will get to hear some of the testimony from the children and the former wife of a New Jersey man accused of raping his five daughters and terrorizing his family.
A judge in Passaic County on Friday also set a date for the first trial to begin May 3.
The Associated Press generally doesn't identify victims of sexual crimes and is not reporting the names of the husband and wife to protect the identities of their children, who are now over 18.
The former wife testified at a hearing that her former husband's apocalyptic visions drove him to try to create "pure" family bloodlines by impregnating three of his daughters.
The 51-year-old was arrested in 2006.
