Girl, 11, Saves Grandfather in NJ

MYFOXNY.COM - An 11-year-old girl helped save her 75-year-old grandfather's life in Linden, N.J., on Sunday, authorities said. Frank Fulop fell down some steps in his home and was knocked unconscious, his wife said.

She wasn't able to reach down and help him, so she told her granddaughter, Selina Ortiz, to tip his head back and begin rescue breaths.

Police, fire, and EMS soon arrived. Medics took over CPR and rushed him to the hospital.

Fulop was badly hurt and was not out of danger Monday evening.
