Two teenage boys walking from a convenience store in Lakewood, New Jersey were shot early Friday morning. Louis Garcia, 17, was killed. His 16-year-old cousin is in critical condition.

MYFOXNY.COM - A violent attack on two teenagers turned deadly in Lakewood, New Jersey early Friday morning.
Police say Louis Garcia, 17, was shot and killed. His cousin, Fernando Reyes, 16, was shot in the chest and arm. Reyes is being treated at Jersey Shore Medical Center. The shooting happened at around 12:18 a.m.
Lakewood police tell Fox 5 Reporter John Huddy that the teens were ambushed in an attempted robbery near New Hampshire Avenue.
Capt. Mike Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says the pair were walking from a convenience store when they were held up at gunpoint.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
