MYFOXNY.COM - Fox 5's John Huddy caught up with Newark Mayor Cory Booker on Thursday just as he was getting ready to tape a YouTube video firing back at late night TV host Conan O'Brien.
The video would be the second response from Booker to O'Brien after the Tonight Show host took a jab at the Brick City last week and then again on Wednesday night.
Last week, O'Brien said that the city's plans for a new health care program "would consist of a bus ticket out of Newark."
Booker didn't like that. "I'm officially putting you on the Newark New Jersey Airport No Fly List. Try JFK, buddy," Booker joked during the video.
On Wednesday, O'Brien 'apologized' to Mayor Booker and proceeded to highlight Newark's many 'attractions.'
Showing pictures of a delapitated waterfront, a graffiti covered wall and a strip club were part of O'Brien's attempt to make amends with Booker.
On Thursday morning, Booker jokingly told Reporter John Huddy that he and the mayors of New Jersey were considering "a total ban of Conan O'Brien in the State of New Jersey...we think we're going to have a press conference later today."
"We roll together and we roll hard. When you attack one of us you attack all of us," Booker added.
Huddy asked Booker how he would feel if O'Brien wanted to do his show in Newark.
"Either President Barack Obama is going to invite us to the White House for a beer or he's going to have to come here and realize how great this city is," said Booker.
"Don't mess with us or we're going to mess with you."
Booker said O'Brien has an open invitation to visit Newark.
