WINSLOW, N.J. (AP) - An Ancora Psychiatric Hospital worker has been charged with sexually assaulting a male patient at the facility in southern New Jersey.

Jaimon Myers of Stratford was suspended without pay after being charged last month. He had been employed at the hospital in Camden County since 2007 and worked as a patient assistant, helping them in everyday tasks such as eating and bathing.

State police say the 21-year-old Myers had sex with the 19-year-old man in the patient's room at the Winslow facility. He was charged with aggravated sexual assault and has since posted $10,000 bail.

Ancora is the state's largest psychiatric hospital, housing about 600 patients.
